Terms of Service

These are the terms of using wefixico. By messaging us, requesting a quote, or booking a job, you’re agreeing to them. Please read them.

1. About us

wefixico is a trading name of Shinkai Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We connect customers in London with verified, independent pros for property care — repairs, maintenance, installation, and similar work.

2. What wefixico does

We:

  • Take your job request via WhatsApp, email, or web form
  • Give you a fixed-price quote based on real market rates
  • Match you with a verified pro
  • Handle scheduling, communication, payment, and support
  • Back every job with the wefixico Guarantee

We don’t do the actual work ourselves — that’s the pro’s job. We’re the platform that makes it easy.

3. The pros

Pros are independent contractors, not wefixico employees. We check identity, background, insurance, relevant credentials, and recent work before a pro takes jobs through wefixico. But they remain responsible for the quality of their work. The wefixico Guarantee sits on top of their responsibility.

4. Booking a job

When you confirm a quote and book a slot:

  • You’re entering a service agreement with us, and through us with the pro
  • The agreed price is fixed unless the job’s scope changes and you approve a new quote
  • You’re responsible for giving the pro safe, lawful access to the property

5. Pricing and payment

  • Quotes are valid for 14 days unless extended in writing
  • Payment is taken on job completion, or as agreed for larger jobs (typically a deposit + balance)
  • We use Stripe to process payments
  • Prices include VAT where applicable
  • If the job’s scope changes mid-way, the pro will pause and get your written approval for any new cost before continuing

6. Cancellations and refunds

  • You can cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the slot at no charge
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a £25 cancellation fee
  • If we cancel for any reason, you pay nothing
  • For ongoing jobs, we follow the wefixico Guarantee process

7. The wefixico Guarantee

Every job is backed by the wefixico Guarantee. In short: if work isn’t done properly, we’ll have a pro back to put it right at no extra cost. If property is damaged by a pro’s negligence, we coordinate the claim with their public liability insurer on your behalf.

8. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Give honest information about the job
  • Provide safe access to the property
  • Treat pros respectfully
  • Not bypass wefixico to engage pros directly within 12 months of a job we matched you with

9. Liability

We’re liable for what we promise, but not for things outside our reasonable control (acts of nature, third-party actions), indirect losses (lost income, missed appointments), or damage caused by issues with the property that the pro couldn’t reasonably have anticipated.

Where the law allows, our total liability for any single job is limited to the price you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud — that wouldn’t be lawful.

10. Disputes

If you have a problem, talk to us first: support@wefixico.com.

If we can’t resolve it informally, we both agree to attempt mediation through the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) before going to court. These terms are governed by English law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued use of wefixico after a change means you accept the updated terms.
