How a quote works, what fixed actually means, and where we cover.

How do I book a job?
Tell us what you need and we'll come back with a fixed-price quote, usually in under two minutes. If you're happy with the number, we book a verified pro for the slot that suits you.
How fast will I get a quote?
Most quotes land within 90 seconds during opening hours. Unusual jobs sometimes need a photo or a couple of details first — we'll always tell you why.
Are quotes really fixed?
Yes. The number we quote is the number you pay, unless the scope of the work genuinely changes — and we'll only do extra work after you sign off on the new price.
What if I don't know exactly what's wrong?
Tell us what you've noticed — "water under the sink", "lights keep tripping", "door won't close". We'll work it out with you and quote for what we find.
Do you cover my area?
Greater London for domestic jobs, plus a growing list of postcodes for commercial work. If you're not sure, just ask — we'll tell you straight.

How do you verify your pros?
We check identity, background, insurance, recent work, and fit for the job before a pro takes work through wefixico. We turn down most pros who apply.
Are pros employees of wefixico?
No. Pros run their own businesses and choose the jobs that suit them. We handle the matching, hold the standard, and stand behind every job through the wefixico Guarantee.
Can I request a specific pro?
If you've worked with one of our pros before and want them back, let us know when you get in touch. We'll do our best, subject to their availability.

What happens when the pro arrives, and what to expect along the way.

Do I need to be at home?
For most jobs, yes — at least to let the pro in and check the work at the end. For commercial sites we can usually work with a site contact you nominate.
What if the job's bigger than expected?
Your pro pauses the work, we get back in touch, and you agree the new price before any extra work happens. No surprises on the invoice.
Will the pro tidy up?
Yes. Every pro carries dust sheets and packs out their own waste at the end of the job.
Can I get same-day service?
Often yes — especially for plumbing and electrical emergencies. Tell us what's happening and we'll let you know the earliest slot we can hit.

What does the wefixico Guarantee cover?

How long do I have to flag an issue?
30 days from the day the job was completed. Sooner is better — we move faster the earlier we know.
What if something gets damaged?
Every wefixico pro carries public liability insurance. If there's accidental damage, we open the claim with their insurer for you — so you never have to chase anyone yourself.

Paying for the job.

How do I pay?
By card, after the job's done. We send you a secure payment link once you're happy with the work.
When do I pay?
After the work is complete and you've signed off. You only pay once the job's done.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The price we quote is the total — no booking fee, no call-out, no service charge.

Reschedules & cancellations.

Plans change. Here's what happens when they do.

Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes. Get in touch and we'll move it. As long as it isn't the day of the booking, there's no charge.
What if my pro can't make it?
Rare, but it happens. We bring in a backup pro and let you know straight away — you keep the same quoted price.
