Why we built this.
The booking-a-tradesperson problem hasn't really changed in twenty years. So we changed it.
wefixico was founded in London by Jarvis and Nigel — co-founders who'd both had enough of the way Londoners book trades. The pattern was always the same. A leak, a fault, a fitting that needed sorting. Hours lost ringing round. Quotes that crept up by the day. Pros who turned up late, or didn't turn up at all. Most people we talked to had a version of the same story.
wefixico exists to take that whole thing off your plate. You tell us what you need. We line up a verified pro, hold the price, and stand behind the work. One team, end to end — so you never chase, compare, or wonder whether you got a fair deal.

wefixico is built by Shinkai Labs Ltd— a London incubator that develops operating systems for broken industries. We pick problems where the existing playbook doesn’t serve the people on either end of the transaction, and we rebuild from first principles.
The trades-booking industry is one of those problems. Hiring a tradesperson shouldn’t be a task, and it shouldn’t turn into a research project. Working out who’s suitable, who’s reliable, and who quotes fairly — that’s our job.
